Premiere Bowling & Entertainment Renovates & Rebrands
Premiere Bowling & Entertainment has recently renovated, rebranded and restructured the facility. The Thompsons are excited to announce the new Family Entertainment Center (FEC) is now Great Escape — The Ultimate Experience.
This new FEC is being opened by Randy and Sheri Thompson, also owners of Plaza Lanes Family Sports Complex, in Des Moines, Iowa. Thompsons are planning to open the largest, most beautiful FEC in Greater Des Moines (DSM).
They have moved away from the name Premiere Bowling & Entertainment, to identify the renovated space as a new and different entertainment establishment with more offerings. Great Escape represents a fun get-away from normal routine. It offers “the ultimate experience,” which includes activities outside of a typical bowling center.
The brand new FEC will eventually expand to over 35,000 square feet. This state-of-the-art entertainment center features a beautifully renovated concourse and bowling area; including a VIP bowling suite with corporate party rooms attached. The facility will also showcase birthday party rooms along with an expanded kitchen and innovative restaurant/bar concept. The Bowling Store Deuce Pro Shop recently opened and has received great reviews from customers.
In the coming months be looking for a multi-level laser tag arena and a new arcade area with redemption store. During this transition, laser tag and arcade games will still be available to best serve the customers.
The mission for this new business is to create a valuable experience every day, in every way, for everyone. The new FEC specializes in group events, corporate group outings, team building activities, adult and youth birthday parties, open bowling, bowling leagues, great food and great fun!
The Great Escape logo itself has an angular shape in the background, which represents a building housing activities, but the “escape” portion of the name is escaping those boundaries, again reinforcing that Great Escape pushes past the normal confines of a bowling center. The “A”s in the logo are higher and come to a peak or pinnacle, which reinforces aiming for top scores, climbing higher and adventure. The angular gray lines represent the line work on a lane — pointing to the pins. Finally, the arrow on the “C” means more — more activities, more fun, more of an experience — and encourages people to come again and again.
The new restaurant within Great Escape will be called Social — Eats & Crafts, featuring great food and a mix of craft beer. The concept focuses around being social — gathering with friends and family to talk over food and drinks. In the logo, the letters connect to each other signifying fluid conversation, and the speech bubble line below the word reinforces the focus on good conversation — a place where you can set down technology and visit face to face. The logo, atmosphere and offerings highlight a place that is casual, yet unique to the area.
