DSM Intern Connection
This must be the place!
The DSM Intern Connection event series returns to Greater Des Moines (DSM), fully in-person for the 2024 summer. The series will feature opportunities for interns and college-aged students to connect with community leaders and executives, as well as opportunities to network with fellow students while learning about what makes DSM unique and truly the place to be.
The 2024 calendar is:
- Tuesday, June 4: DSM Intern Connection Kick-Off: Skillset Identification and Connections | REGISTER
- Tuesday, June 18: Magnetic Communication with Tina Bakehouse | REGISTER
- Tuesday, July 2: On Purpose for a Purpose: Professional Presence with Laila Down | REGISTER
- Tuesday, July 16: Enrolling in Benefits and Understanding Your Total Pay Package with Jeff Clayton | REGISTER
- Tuesday, July 23: Executive Luncheon – Invite Only
*In order to attend, participants must have attended 3 of 4 previous DSM Intern Connection events.
Program Highlights:
- Opportunities to network with other students and young professionals in the area while also learning about personal finance management, mental health care tips and how to leverage your own strengths in your job and everyday life.
- Students who complete three of the four events receive a Community Leadership Certificate (an excellent resume booster) and are invited to attend the Executive Luncheon event on July 23.
- All events are free for students to attend.
