With a network of more than 7,200 Affiliate Members, the Greater Des Moines Partnership provides a strong, collective voice on business matters and public policy issues in addition to initiatives that benefit regional businesses directly and strengthen the regional economy as a whole. Members can elevate their visibility, stay connected, network and expand regional leadership.
The Affiliate Model
The Partnership offers professional development, networking and resources like business consulting to Affiliate Members.
As a Member, your benefits include:
- Enhanced connections with potential clients and customers, exclusive resources and tools to help your business grow.
- Networking opportunities at events, workshops and more.
- Access to Chamber programming and expertise.
- Inclusion in your Chamber's Directory and The Partnership's Membership Directory for increased visibility in the community.
- Access to advocacy support. Chamber Members can be part of The Partnership's Government Policy Council that drafts and advocates with one voice and as one region for The Partnership's State Policy Agenda (State Legislators, Governor’s Office, Executive Branch) and Federal Policy Agenda (Iowa’s Congressional delegation and staff).
- 1:1 business consulting with The Partnership team. When you join a Chamber, The Partnership will reach out to you to learn more about your business and your priorities, and in return, provide customized information about the resources available to you as a Member.
- Members are highlighted in Partnership marketing campaigns and communications, providing opportunities for Members to be elevated to various audiences and potential customers.

Chambers are a voice and leaders in the DSM region. They drive ideas forward, promote the creation of vibrant communities, offer resources and guidance for business leaders and advocate for local businesses. Chambers are conveners and collaborators – and Members have the opportunity to both benefit from their work and be part of it.

- It's not uncommon for businesses to be Members of multiple Chambers.
What does Membership Cost?
- Membership costs are different for each Chamber, but have options that fit your budget and goals. Membership fees are used to fund the programming and work of the Chamber and the staff that make it possible.
