Tiffany Tauscheck Promoted to Chief Strategy Officer at the Greater Des Moines Partnership

December 12, 2017

In this newly-created role, Tauscheck will help lead strategic planning and provide Partnership CEO Jay Byers and the senior leadership team with counsel on internal and external Partnership projects and initiatives. She also will help lead Investor relations and strategies and will continue to oversee The Partnership’s communications and marketing team.

The Partnership recently wrapped up its Maximizing Momentum 2022 Investor Campaign, successfully securing record investment for the next five years and a record number of new Investors. Tauscheck, working closely with Partnership volunteers and other team members, served as the team lead on the Investor Campaign.

“Tiffany is a proven leader who has time and time again raised the bar for what is possible and can be accomplished, as evidenced by her leadership in The Partnership’s record-breaking Investor Campaign,” said Dan Houston, Chairman, President and CEO of Principal and The Partnership’s Board Chair and Chair of The Partnership’s Maximizing Momentum 2022 Investor Campaign. “This new position is both recognition of her talent and an organizational shift to even better serve our Investors and the region as a whole.”

In addition to the Investor Campaign, Tauscheck led The Partnership’s communications and marketing team on an organizational rebranding effort that encompassed and strengthened more than 40 projects, initiatives and events. With her leadership, The Partnership in 2017 unveiled the DSM USA regional identifier and Downtown DSM USA identifier, using research-based decision-making to strengthen the brand of the region.

“This promotion is recognition of Tiffany’s ability to envision, lead and drive success through major projects, which she has shown through her leadership on game-changing projects including the DSM USA regional identifier, Art Route DSM and The Partnership’s recently completed Investor campaign,” said Jay Byers, CEO of the Greater Des Moines Partnership. “She works closely with all of The Partnership’s work platforms and is well-connected in the community and able to recognize opportunities for collaboration that fit with The Partnership’s long-term strategies and collective vision for the future.”

Tauscheck is active in the community and currently serves on three regional boards, two national boards, one statewide board and numerous committees. Through her community work, she also leads the Art Route DSM Committee which recently completed the first-of-its-kind Art Route DSM project. Art Route DSM unites 87 pieces of public art in Downtown DSM and includes an Art Route pocket in West Des Moines.

Tauscheck’s new role is effective immediately.
