Celebrate Business and Economic Impact Award Winners Announced

GREATER DES MOINES, IA — The Greater Des Moines Partnership and the Business Record will honor area companies with the Celebrate Business and Economic Impact Awards at a luncheon on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017. The awards program will take place at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Celebrating 35 years of local economic impact in 2017, the Economic Impact Awards recognize companies that have had a significant influence on the local economy in terms of job creation, capital investment and facility expansion.

The 2017 Economic Impact Award winners are:

Since 1999, the Celebrate Business Awards have promoted the Greater Des Moines (DSM) business community by acknowledging innovative and enduring business initiatives. The awards are presented annually to winners in several categories, including: the Community Champion Award for encouraging involvement in community activities; the Best Kept Secret Award for building a reputation for integrity and quality while remaining outside the public limelight; the Innovation Award for embracing innovation; the Best Workplace for YPs Award for creating an employee-friendly work environment; the EDGE Award for the pursuit of educational attainment and talent development; and the Inclusion Award to honor employers that have championed diversity and inclusion.
