Mercy Opens Second Des Moines Occupational Health Clinic
DES MOINES, Iowa — Mercy Medical Center–Des Moines is pleased to expand its occupational health services in Des Moines with the opening of a second location. The new clinic, located at 2525 E. Euclid Ave. in Des Moines, will open to patients Nov. 14. An open house is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 4-6 p.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:15 p.m.
Mercy Occupational Health provides comprehensive services for businesses to maximize employee health and safety and to reduce lost work time, absenteeism and Workers’ Compensation costs. Some services provided include:
- Physicals: DOT, Respirator, Silica, HAZMAT
- Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)
- On-site X-ray, Laboratory, Physical Therapy
- Physical Capacities Testing
With the addition of the second location, Mercy Clinics will now offer occupational health services in both West Des Moines and on Des Moines’ east side, providing extra options and convenience for central Iowa workers and employers. Mercy West Occupational Health is located at 1055 Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines. Both clinics will be open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (515) 261-3300 or (515) 358-5950.
