Lawrence of Arabia Exhibit Presented at Salisbury House
DES MOINES, IOWA — The Salisbury House proudly presents Lawrence of Arabia and the Arab Revolt Exhibit from Nov. 7-19, 2017.
The exhibit includes the extensive collection of T.E. Lawrence artifacts of Joseph Berton, as well as items from the Salisbury House Permanent Collection. Mr. Berton is a distinguished author and scholar of T.E. Lawrence, whose works include “T.E. Lawrence the Arab Revolt, an Illustrated Guide.”
Mr. Berton will be speaking at the Salisbury House as a part of the History Series Lecture presenting “T.E. Lawrence: His Life & Legend” on November 16, 2017 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Those wishing to view the collection can visit the Salisbury House at 4025 Tonawanda Drive, Des Moines, Iowa 50312. The exhibit is accessible from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Admission to the exhibit is free with a suggested charitable donation.
