Why
Des Moines Arts Festival Executive Director Stephen King is announcing Chris Dahlquist as the 2018 Des Moines Arts Festival Featured Artist and unveiling the 2018 commemorative poster with its original artwork called “Mile Marker 641.” In addition, the Festival will honor Bravo Greater Des Moines with the G. David Hurd Innovator in the Arts Award. This annual recognition stands to honor the legacy of G. David Hurd and goes to an individual or organization who exemplifies the pursuit of innovation in the arts.
