Young Professionals Connection Annual Gala To Be Held In August

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (July 5, 2023) – The Young Professionals Connection (YPC) has announced that they will host their Annual Gala on Saturday, Aug. 5 from 6 – 10 p.m. The event will be held at The Conservatory, an event center in Downtown Des Moines (DSM).  

The keynote speakers for this year’s Gala are mother-son duo Bridget Cravens-Neely, CEO of Big Brother’s Big Sisters of Central Iowa and Julian Neely, Director of United LEAGUE. 

“The Gala is the perfect opportunity to come together to reflect, connect and further engage with the community," said Ngozi Igbokwe, President of YPC. “We’re excited to welcome members and non-members to this year’s festivities.” 

The schedule of events includes:  

  • 6 p.m. – Networking, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres 
  • 7 p.m. – Dinner and remarks 
  • 8:30 p.m. – Dancing
