Vendor Applications Now Open For Downtown Farmers’ Market, World Food & Music Festival And Out To Lunch

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Jan. 18, 2024) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership has opened vendor applications for the Downtown Farmers’ Market, World Food & Music Festival and Out to Lunch.  

“We are excited to open applications for three of our major events and welcome new and returning vendors. We love the opportunity to continue to work with local business owners,” said Amelia Klatt, Director of Events at The Partnership. “The Partnership is thrilled to continue to bring opportunities for visitors, residents and employees to connect while offering an exciting opportunity to visit Downtown Des Moines for vibrant and immersive events filled with music, local art and shopping opportunities.” 

Event Details:  

  • Downtown Farmers’ Market 
    • Dates: Saturdays, May 4 – Oct. 26 
    • Types of vendors that can apply: Fresh produce, meat, cheese, eggs, baked goods, plants, flowers and artisan packaged food, handmade art and ready-to-eat prepared food, entertainment and Saturday Salutes. 
  • World Food & Music Festival 
    • Dates: Friday, Aug. 23 – Sunday, Aug. 25 
    • Types of vendors that can apply: Food Vendors, Food Trucks, Merchants and Nonprofits. 
  • Out to Lunch 
    • Dates: Wednesdays, May 15 – June 26 
    • Types of vendors that can apply: Food Vendors and Food Trucks.
