Partnership Announces 2020 Small Business Success Summit

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Monday, Sept. 28, 2020) — The Greater Des Moines Partnership’s Small Business Success Summit is scheduled virtually for Thursday, Nov. 5 and Friday, Nov. 6. The Summit will feature presentations by three keynote speakers from industry leaders that will inform and inspire, and 12 breakout sessions focused on topics ranging from marketing, legal, COVID-19 lessons learned, human resources, growing sales and more.

Keynote presentations for the event include:

  • Leading During Change, Challenge and Crisis with Mary Kelly, Ph.D., CSP, CDR and Owner of Productive Leaders
  • The 5 Decision-Making Secrets: Surprising, Unorthodox Approaches to Powerful Leadership Outcomes, with Michael Veltri, leadership expert and author
  • A small business marketing presentation from Whitney Cox, Marketing Manager at Google

Breakout sessions include local business leaders and subject matter experts presenting on a variety of topics that will feature immediate takeaways attendees can use to help their small business grow.
