Get Spooky At Final Outdoor Downtown Farmers’ Market On Saturday, Oct. 26, Winter Market To Begin Next Month
The Market will celebrate Halloween by encouraging patrons to dress up in their Halloween costumes, and vendors will hand out candy. Enjoy fall produce, fall-themed baked goods and treats such as caramel apples, apple cider, apple pie, pumpkins, fall mums, unique gourds, flowers and plants — and so much more.

The Downtown Winter Farmers' Market presented by UnityPoint Health — Des Moines will take place from Friday, Nov. 22 – Sunday, Nov. 24. The Winter Market will feature late-season produce, holiday gifts, baked goods, local art, entertainment, as well as breakfast and lunch prepared food options and a variety of holiday products. This season, The Winter Market will take place at the Iowa Events Center in Downtown Des Moines (DSM).
The hours for The Winter Market will be as follows:

It’s a wonderful way to celebrate the season and enjoy a unique shopping experience right here in the heart of Downtown.”
The Partnership will also host a Holiday Porch Planter Make-and-Take event on Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24 at The Winter Market. Downtown Farmers' Market vendor, Quilted Gardens will teach participants how to create a Holiday Porch Planter. Classes cost $50 per person and include all of the necessary items. Register here.
