Entrepreneur Field Days Returns, Go Behind The Scenes With Local Entrepreneurs And Creatives Building Here
The Greater Des Moines Partnership has announced the Entrepreneur Field Days series will return this August through October. Entrepreneur Field Days draws on Iowa’s rich agricultural heritage, expanding the lessons learned from farming into all forms of entrepreneurship and building on rural and urban knowledge and skillsets to create strong startups and small businesses in Greater Des Moines (DSM). Each event will be held at a different business in the region.
All Entrepreneur Field Day dates and locations are listed below:
- Aug. 29: In Harmony Farm, Building A Public Farm to Support Underserved Farmers & Refugees (Earlham)
- Sept. 4: Gross-Wen Technologies, Revolutionizing Water Treatment Using Algae (Slater)
- Sept. 24: PepperHarrow Farm, Creating Beauty Through Flowers in Madison County (Winterset)
- Oct. 2: Coviance, Transforming The Home Equity Lending Experience (West Des Moines)
- Oct. 8: Southeast Constructors, Building an Inclusive Community Through Construction (Des Moines)
- Oct. 16: Shivvers Technology & Innovation Group, Monitoring A Smart Grain Bin From Your Pocket (Ames)
- Oct. 23: Hummingbirds, Powering Businesses with Hyperlocal Creators (Des Moines)
- Oct. 29: Moglea, Making Artful Goods for Everyday (Des Moines)
