Carrie Weber Elected Shareholder at Ahlers & Cooney Law Firm
Des Moines, Iowa (January 4, 2021) Carrie Weber has been elected shareholder at Ahlers & Cooney, P.C. Carrie is a member of the firm’s Education Law Practice Area, serving K-12 school districts, with an emphasis in special education. She currently leads the firm's Student Issues Practice Group.
Carrie has a strong passion for working with educational institutions, as prior to law school, she was a public elementary education teacher in the Des Moines Public Schools and Minneapolis Public Schools, and spent one year teaching in Brussels, Belgium.
Prior to joining Ahlers & Cooney, Carrie served as a Law Clerk to The Honorable Robert Pratt, Senior Judge, United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa from 2014-2016, and The Honorable Natalie Hudson, Minnesota Court of Appeals from 2013-2014.
Carrie graduated Summa Cum Laude from William Mitchell College of Law.
