Hide And Seek Ornaments You Keep Returns Friday, Dec. 6 – Sunday, Dec. 15

November 26, 2024

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Nov. 26, 2024) – Deck the halls with handmade ornaments during the fifth annual Hide and Seek Ornaments You Keep. This free, fun pop-up activation will return this holiday season to encourage people from across the Greater Des Moines (DSM) region to support local businesses.

Each day from Friday, Dec. 6 – Sunday, Dec. 15, local artists will be placing handmade ornaments in different locations across the region, locations changing daily, and in Downtown Des Moines (DSM). Ornaments will be hidden in trees and other areas near retailers, restaurants and attractions to encourage patrons to shop locally while participating in the scavenger hunt.

“We’re excited to bring back Hide and Seek Ornaments You Keep, a holiday tradition that brings together community, creativity and holiday cheer,” said Molly Atkins, Events Specialist at The Partnership. “This fun, free activity not only highlights the talents of local artists but also encourages people to explore communities and support local businesses during the holiday season.”
