Des Moines Performing Arts' Touchdown Tailgate Presented by Willis Nissan Returns to Cowles Commons
DES MOINES, IA – Des Moines Performing Arts (DMPA) will celebrate the intrastate rivalry football game between the Iowa State Cyclones and Iowa Hawkeyes with the popular Touchdown Tailgate Presented by Willis Nissan.
Touchdown Tailgate Presented by Willis Nissan will take place Saturday, September 10th from 11 AM – 8 PM at Cowles Commons.
Des Moines’ largest tailgate event is free to attend. There will be two large screens for guests to enjoy the big game. Ricochet Bar will be on site throughout the event selling local craft beers. There will also be several food trucks on site cooking up favorite local eats.
The event kicks off at 11 AM, with entertainment provided throughout the day. A LIVE performance of the National Anthem will take place at 2:45 PM, followed by kickoff at 3 PM.
Fans of all ages are encouraged to wear their team’s favorite colors, and bring chairs for a day full of football, fun and state pride. No outside coolers or food will be allowed.
