For 47 years, the Des Moines Home + Garden Show has inspired countless projects and renovations through exclusive access to industry experts and the latest products and trends. Whether you need a quick tip or a fresh perspective on your projects, the Des Moines Home + Garden Show is your one-stop shop for expert advice and great deals to help take your project to the next level.

Here’s what attendees can expect this year:

The Basics

The Des Moines Home + Garden Show runs Feb. 13 – 16, 2025 at the Iowa Events Center in Downtown Des Moines (DSM). Adult admission (13+) is $14 for single-day tickets at the door or $12 online when purchased before the show starts, courtesy of sponsor That 1 Painter. Children ages 7-12 are $4 and children under 6 enter free.

Active military personnel, veterans, firefighters, medical professionals, police officers and first responders receive free admission with valid ID each day of the show. Teachers and school staff also receive free admission with valid ID on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025.

Get Inspired

Experience innovative outdoor landscapes in the feature gardens, which showcase waterfalls, pools and a variety of plants courtesy of Bentley Ridge Nursery and Tree Farm. With spring approaching, it's the perfect time to gather ideas for your backyard oasis. Plus, don’t miss their flower and plant sale on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025 at 5 p.m. All show plants must go!

Pavers

Visit the Rose Farm Inspiration Stage, sponsored by Karri Rose of Rose Farm in Norwalk, Iowa, for interactive workshops and presentations. There will be activities and lessons for the whole family, including pie-making, floral design, tablescape creation, kids' gardening and other educational experiences.

The Made in Iowa Market celebrates local artisans and their home-state products, featuring bath and beauty items, food and drink, art and more. Supporting Iowa-based creators has never been easier!

Home Inspiration

These features complement the 350+ exhibitors offering products and services to help transform your home and garden. Remember to keep an eye out for exhibitor’s “show deals.” These exclusive prices on products or services can’t be found anywhere else!

Down Home Fab

Learn From the Best

Headlining this year’s event are the stars of HGTV’s "Down Home Fab," Chelsea and Cole DeBoer (pictured above). Known for transforming houses into homes with heart, the DeBoers bring their signature style, charm and relationship goals to the stage, offering attendees a rare glimpse into how they balance creative home renovations, run a thriving business, raise four kids all while keeping their romance alive. The DeBoers will appear at the show’s Rose Farm Inspiration Stage on Friday, Feb. 14, 2025 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025 at Noon.
