Jingle Bell Stroll

Saturday, Dec. 2 | Gray’s Lake
Magical moments can be found in Downtown DSM! Designed for kids ages 13 and under, the Jingle Bell Stroll, produced by Des Moines Parks & Recreation, includes festive games, craft stations, holiday music, hot chocolate, a photo opp with Santa Claus and a holiday-themed walk! Admission is free, but you must pre-register (and registration closes TODAY!).

Merry Mid-Mod Market and Holiday Hop

Saturday, Dec. 2 | Various Locations
This first-annual event is a can’t-miss for vintage lovers! Hop around to eight of DSM’s best vintage shops for special deals and unique products including Downtown stores like Raccoon Forks Trading Co. and Vzz Vintage. Additionally, Funky Finds Vintage & Retro will host a pop-up market with 10+ vendors adjacent to their Downtown DSM storefront. This is a fun and festive way to shop local for holiday gifts this season!

Des Moines Gay Men’s Chorus: Light of the Season

Founded in 2001, the Des Moines Gay Men’s Chorus (DMGMC) is a nonprofit that aims to promote and celebrate diversity through the transformative power of music. The annual DMGMC holiday concert is a heartwarming and joyous occasion, featuring tried-and-true holiday classics. The concert kicks off at 7:30 p.m., with tickets available for purchase at $25.

Saturday, Dec. 2 – Sunday, Dec. 3 | Wells Fargo Arena
The Iowa Wolves are ready for tip-off! DSM's home team will take on the Indiana Mad Ants for a double-header this weekend. Saturday is Hoops for Hope, including a cancer awareness fundraiser auction. Then, Sunday is PRIDE Night with the Iowa Wolves, featuring a Community Celebration Jersey by local artist Cat Rocketship, including a jersey auction set to benefit DSM’s Capital City Pride organization.
