There are only a few days left to enjoy this limited time pop up in Downtown Des Moines! If you haven’t heard, this free and super cool installation draws both kids and grownups to play and enjoy the 15 varied seesaws, making for an interactive experience of both lights and sounds.

Prepare to be awed by these highly impressive Chinese acrobats! Their technical skills in arts like trick-cycling, precision tumbling, juggling, somersaulting and gymnastics leaves audiences fully amazed. Defying gravity with their amazing skillsets, the Peking Acrobats are often accompanied by live musicians playing traditional Chinese instruments.

SingleSpeed Brewing Beer Mile

Saturday, May 18 | SingleSpeed – Des Moines Taproom
The inaugural SingleSpeed Brewing Beer Mile is coming to Downtown Des Moines! Dubbed as “a test of fortitude,” the race includes four 12-oz beers, each followed by a 400-meter dash. Costumes are highly encouraged, with prizes awarded to the best of the best!

Summer Music Series at Gray’s Station

Wednesday, May 22 | Gray’s Station
Get in on the very first Gray’s Station free concert of the summer season! Groove to live music from the Avery Grouws Band and enjoy hot and yummy eats from Lachele’s Find Foods food truck, plus browse a number of local vendors on-hand for the event as well.
