1. Des Moines Restaurant Week
   Friday, Aug. 19 – Sunday, Aug. 28 | Various Locations
   This is your chance to sample delicious meals from top-notch restaurants around DSM including downtown. Dinner meals range from $40 to $80 each, with lunch specials ranging $15 to $25. Many Downtown DSM restaurants are participating, including Alba, Clyde’s Fine Diner, Django and Franka Pizzeria — to name a few.

2. Pitbull & Iggy Azalea
   Sunday, Aug. 21 | Wells Fargo Arena
   With several hit tracks including “Give Me Everything,” “Timber” and “Don’t Stop the Party,” this summertime must-experience concert in Downtown DSM is bound to be a great time complete with drinks and dancing. Featuring special guest Iggy Azalea, known for hit song, “Fancy.”

3. Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird
   Tuesday, Aug. 23 – Sunday, Aug. 28 | Des Moines Civic Center
   Watch as the “greatest novel of all time” (Chicago Tribune) becomes “one of the greatest plays in history” (NPR). To Kill a Mockingbird is part of the Willis Broadway Series, with tickets starting at just $40.

4. Matt Nathanson
   Tuesday, Aug. 23 | Iowa
   Best known for his song, “Come On Get Higher,” Matt Nathanson will entertain the crowd with his musical talents inspired by his favorite artists including Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, Carole King, Joni and Indigo Girls.
