Embrace the Cold at the Red Flannel Run
Here at the YMCA, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be healthy. Our upcoming 36th Annual Red Flannel Run will help to accomplish that. This event promotes health, wellness and community. This run is the largest fundraiser to help make the YMCA accessible to all and the longest, consecutively produced race in Greater Des Moines (DSM). Proceeds from this event will go directly back into the community to provide youth programs and discounted memberships for those who otherwise couldn't afford it.
As we gear up for this amazing event right around the corner, now is a fantastic opportunity for you to connect with our community by getting signed up for the race or any of our many volunteer opportunities, including packet pickup, awards, racecourse directors and more. Our race has something for everyone. We have a 10K, 5K and family fun 1-mile race.
