Colby Creates
Following the birth of her son, Sarah Colby needed a mid-size purse in a design she could love. Not finding what she wanted, she set about making her own purse — the first of many. A year later, Sarah started Colby Creates, following in her parents’ footsteps to become a small business owner herself. She runs her creative business from Boone, Iowa. Once a month for the duration of The Market, Colby sells various sizes of handmaid purses, lip balm holders, hand sanitizer holders and more. Minimalist wallets come in several designs including lace, floral and stars.
Find the Colby Creates Market booth in front of Hy-Vee’s parking lot along 4th Street, south of Court Avenue.
