Lauren Daigle
Friday, Sept. 29 | Wells Fargo Arena
For one night only, Lauren Daigle and special guest Brandon Lake will take to the stage in Downtown Des Moines this week. Daigle has earned bragging rights as a two-time Grammy, seven-time Billboard Music Award, four-time American Music Award and 10-time GMA Dove Music Award winner. Saturday, Sept. 30 | Pura Cocktail Bar & Lounge

Tuesday, Oct. 3 – Sunday, Oct. 8 | Des Moines Civic Center
You’ve seen Tim Burton’s hilarious and well-loved film, and this Broadway show follows the tale. Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager, experiences a life-changing encounter when she meets a recently dead couple, as well as a demon with a thing for stripes. Wednesday, Oct. 4 – Saturday, Oct. 7 | TeeHee’s Comedy Club
One of the newest and coolest festivals is about to return to Downtown Des Moines, in celebration of all things stand-up comedy. With headliners including Kristen Toomey and Sam Tallent, plus comedy showcases each night throughout the festival and a few opportunities for free shows, the laughs will be flowing (and the tears, too!).

New Hours at the Downtown Farmers’ Market
Saturdays, Oct. 7 – 28 | Historic Court District
The start of October means a new starting time for the beloved Downtown Farmers’ Market! This month, the opening bell at The Market will ring at 8 a.m. with all the things you love continuing each Saturday morning until Noon. Shop farm fresh produce, meat, cheese, eggs, ready-to-eat breakfast and lunch, clothing, jewelry, art and lots more! Be sure to plan your visit in advance by browsing the vendors on-deck for the week. And fall food and décor will be on full display, so don’t miss out!
