If your kids love amphibians, Central Library has a program your family is sure to enjoy! Learn everything there is to know about these smooth, wet animals and how they seem to miraculously transition from egg to adult. Downtown Farmers’ Market

Enjoy your Saturday morning at Des Moines’ Downtown Farmers’ Market in the Historic Court District. The Market is held every Saturday, now through October, from 7 a.m. – Noon (8 a.m. – Noon during the month of October). The Market supports farmers, growers and artisan food entrepreneurs from around the state of Iowa.
