April 10 2022 Big Dopes Seth Cloe and the Silver Liners Abigail Phelps doors 4, show 4:30pm $8 in advance/$10 day of show 21+ event Big Dopes' loose, lighthearted feel evokes 90s alternative and indie. Lead songwriter Eddie Schmid uses a playful, conversational vocal style to sing through neuroses about long-distance relationships, being a houseguest, and wasting money on shitty headphones. Ricky Brewer (drums) and Justin Catanzaro (bass) lend vibrant, dynamic rhythms, and Paul Simmons adds colorful violin, guitar, and synth. ABIGAIL PHELPS Abigail Phelps is a Des Moines native and rising singer/songwriter. She brings a spunky and fresh approach to the stage with her charming presence and driving lyrics. Her raw vocals and contagious humor create a stage experience like no other. SETH CLOE Seth Cloe and the Silver Liners are a power trio playing dynamic and melodic alt-rock music. The band formed after Seth had been performing solo acoustic music in early 2020. With influences like Kings of Leon, Manchester Orchestra, Cage the Elephant, and Weezer, the band combines catchy vocal melodies with strong, moving bass lines, intricate drumming, and powerful guitar playing.
