Q: What do you do?
A: As with most other things in life, the key to achieving your long-term financial objectives is planning. It’s important to determine what you’d like to achieve financially and then map out a strategy that will help you meet those goals. The good news is that it’s never too late to start. Of course, planning your financial future can be intimidating. Luckily, you don't have to do it alone. As a New York Life insurance agent, and a Registered Representative of NYLIFE Securities, LLC. I am a trained professional who can help you identify your financial needs and then determine which insurance and financial products can best help you meet your objectives.
Q: How are you involved in the community?
A: I have been involved in Young Professionals Connection (YPC) since April 2010 and have served on the Marketing and Professional Development committees since 2011, co-chairing the Professional Development Committee this year. I am an ambassador for the WDM Chamber, active member in genYP and New View, and am part of a weekly breakfast club.
Q: What are some of your favorite things to do in Greater Des Moines (DSM)?
A: Playing golf at Wakonda. Enjoying the great food in town from places like Flying Mango, Red Rossa, Jethro’s, and Tasty Tacos.
Q: What don't people know about you?
A: As much as I love being out around town with friends, attending YPC and chamber events, meeting and networking with new people, I am also a bit of a home body.
Q: Anything else we should know?
A: For those of you who attend Hawkeye football games and hear the fans in the NW corner cheering “I-O-W-A, Iowa, Iowa, Iowa” back and forth during the games, guess who usually gets that going? Young Professionals Connection (YPC)
The Young Professionals Connection (YPC) promotes an environment that attracts and retains young professionals in Greater Des Moines (DSM). YPC connects young professionals to each other and to the community through social, civic, charitable and professional development endeavors. YPC members have unique opportunities to grow personally and professionally and forge lasting relationships. They engage, connect and form a foundation for their future in DSM. YPC is an initiative of the Greater Des Moines Partnership.
