Partnership, Capital Crossroads and Young Professionals Connection to Host Public Policy Issue Forum on Cybersecurity

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Aug 4, 2022) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership, Capital Crossroads and Young Professionals Connection (YPC) will hold a Public Policy Issue Forum on Cybersecurity on Thursday, Aug. 18 at Noon.

The forum will feature a panel discussion on cybersecurity threats, how to prepare and protect from cybersecurity attacks and how policy plays a vital role on the issue. Confirmed panelists include:

  • Rob Denson, DMACC
  • Iowa State Representative Brian Lohse
  • Carolyn Weaver, Des Moines University
  • Brian Waller, Technology Association of Iowa, Moderator

Registration for this event is free. Registrants are encouraged to attend in person at The Partnership’s office at 700 Locust St. in Downtown Des Moines (DSM), but may also attend via a livestream. Click here to register for in-person or to receive the livestream link.

This is part of a series of public policy forums throughout 2022 to explore issues impacting Greater Des Moines (DSM). Each forum will include a conversation of experts who will provide insights surrounding the policy implications of that priority issue.
