Historic East Village Holiday Promenade Returns for Five Fridays in November and December
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Oct. 20, 2021) – The annual Holiday Promenade will return to the Historic East Village for five Fridays of holiday cheer in 2021. The Holiday Promenade will begin on Friday, Nov. 19 and continue each Friday through Dec. 17. The Holiday Promenade is produced by the Greater Des Moines Partnership and Historic East Village Neighborhood Association.
The 20th Annual Holiday Promenade in the Historic East Village will be an exciting celebration full of holiday themed activities, entertainment, shopping and family-friendly fun. During the Holiday Promenade dates, Historic East Village retailers, restaurants and attractions are encouraged to remain open until 9 p.m. A number of activities will be scheduled throughout the five Fridays.
“Holiday Promenade gives residents from across the region another reason to shop local and experience the Historic East Village in Downtown Des Moines heading into the holiday season,” said Colleen Murphy, Downtown Events Director at the Greater Des Moines Partnership. “We encourage residents to experience it with their friends and family members of all ages.”
The Holiday Promenade is sponsored by MidAmerican Energy Company, Prairie Meadows and Iowa State Bank.
