Greater Des Moines Partnership is U.S. Finalist in World Chambers Competition

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Sept. 7, 2021) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership is one of 16 finalists and the only U.S. finalist in the International Chamber of Commerce World Chambers Competition. The Partnership is one of four finalists in the category of Best Resilience Project for its DSM Forward project.

DSM Forward is a compilation of playbooks devoted to helping businesses and industries prepare for next steps related to economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. The expert-led DSM Forward initiative includes playbooks built with guidance, recommendations and feedback from industry leaders and leaders in the medical field.

The World Chambers Competition is the only global awards program to identify and reward the most innovative, entrepreneurial solutions of chambers to today’s most pressing global challenges. In spotlighting the diversity and enterprise championed by the competing chambers, the Competition aims to enable change to make the world a better place for people and planet.

A total of 78 initiatives representing 33 countries were submitted for this year’s edition of the Competition. Finalists will present their initiatives during the 12th World Chambers Congress in Dubai from Nov. 23 – 25. Learn more here.
