• Put together a business plan that outlines where you see the company in five years.

Part of growing a great organization is knowing and having experience with all facets of the company. If your people know you’ve done those jobs before, they will trust you more. Your opinion will become stronger among your employees, and you’ll find they want to join you in continuing to look for ways to do more. When you start from the ground up, without huge capital investments right out of the gate, you’re less likely to see your company culture change.
