VAEZR + Lashier Graphics & Signs Complete AR Mural for This Year’s Iowa State Fair

VAEZR, a division of Zirous headquartered in West Des Moines, Iowa, and Lashier Graphics & Signs have completed another groundbreaking project featured at the Iowa State Fair. This project includes the activated graphic and NEW mural offering an immersive journey thanks to VAEZR Studio’s expertise in augmented reality.

Murals are a popular photo op, and this Iowa State Fair mural is that and so much more. The 24-foot-wide picture includes a QR code that activates and brings the art to life, enhancing the fair-goer experience while bringing awareness to the fusion of art and technology. Located on the exterior of the Jacobson Exhibition Center in the southwest corner of the fairgrounds next to the Iowa Craft Beer Tent (Iowa State Fair Map), the mural is a transformative partnership that showcases the power of creativity and innovation for the second year in a row for Zirous and the Iowa State Fair and sixth year of Lashier Graphics & Signs’ Partnership with the Fair.

Luke McDermott, Senior XR Engineer, is thrilled to bring this technology to the Fair again. These projects showcase just a sliver of the true potential of XR technology to enhance and elevate traditional experiences, and McDermott is honored to be a part of the journey.

Andy Lashier, Co-Founder of Lashier Graphics & Signs, continues to bring fair-goers new experiences so they can imagine what they can do with their own brand messaging. By partnering with Zirous to launch “Activated Graphics,” Lashier Graphics & Signs continues to explore and lead the cutting-edge of technology within the industry.
