From running on the old historical streets during our 5k to watching our festive community parade with friends and family, your Saturday morning will be kicked off to a great start at Adel’s Sweet Corn Festival on Saturday, August 10.
Located in the heart of Adel, Iowa, we are proud to hold our annual Sweet Corn Festival which celebrates its 40th Anniversary this year. Throughout the day you will be able to stop at the countless craft, food and vendor booths. While walking the downtown streets, you will get to experience our famous free sweet corn, family and kid games, and our notable car show.
Books, Music & Beer
After enjoying the summer sun, you can cool off inside and browse our Library Book Sale at the Adel Public Library. Then you can end your evening with live music played by High South from Nashville, TN and enjoy the festival’s beer garden where you can get our Fire Trucker Special Brew.
If you’ve never been to Adel, and never been to our Sweet Corn Festival, you can experience both on August 10. Entry the festival is free of charge so bring your friends and family and come experience our town and community. We promise you’ll be back.
