2020 Economic Impact Awards Celebrates Kreg Tool Company

Kreg Tool is a second-generation owned company that creates solutions that give woodworkers and do-it-yourselfers the confidence to create their own projects by making them approachable and fun. With the company’s signature pocket-hole jig, and variety of accompanying products, Kreg activates people to experience the benefits of connecting head, heart and hands throughout the building process.

In April of 2020, Kreg Tool broke ground on a new corporate campus in Ankeny, Iowa. The construction of the 150,000 square-foot facility will house all office and operations staff, which now operates out of three seaparte buildings in Huxley, Iowa. The new Kreg location will be better equipped to accommodate Kreg’s continued growth and needs, while providing opportunities for job growth due to its location, just south of the Department of Transportation.

Furthermore, the facility will enable Kreg to continue its growth trajectory by providing the space, technology, visibility, and efficiency to meet current customers’ needs, while expanding international sales and developing new digital channels for the company’s products and services. Construction is expected to conclude in late summer/early fall of 2021 and employees will begin occupying the beautiful new space shortly thereafter.
