Who Are the Angels?
Some angels are full-time angel investors and serial entrepreneurs. Others are CEOs, CTOs, founders, presidents and board members of agriculture, automotive, biotech, financial services, food manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, professional services, publishing, real estate, renewable agriculture, systems engineering, technology, telecommunications and venture capital entities. Yet others are retired from a life of innovating, leading and guiding with a keen desire to continue honing their craft as an investor.
Angels range in age and quantity of investments, both in dollars invested and total number of projects — some have participated in more than 50 angel projects while a few are still looking for their first. And many are interested in investing more than just money in a venture.
