The Downtown Farmers' Market presented by UnityPoint Health – Des Moines provides fresh produce, meat, cheese, eggs, baked goods, plants, flowers and artisan packaged food, handmade art and ready-to-eat prepared food to the community in the heart of Downtown DSM.

Saturday Market Details

The Market will run every Saturday from May 3 through Oct. 25, in Downtown Des Moines' Historic Court District. The Market operates from 7 a.m. to Noon (8 a.m. to Noon in October).

Market Vendors

The Downtown Farmers’ Market supports hundreds of vendors from across the state of Iowa who offer locally grown produce, seasonal flowers, farm fresh eggs and cheese, fresh baked goods, locally produced wine, Iowa-raised meat and more.

During the fall season, vendors offer sweet potatoes, butternut squash, beets, garlic, apples and fall-themed baked goods and treats such as caramel apples, apple cider, apple pie, pumpkins, fall mums, unique gourds, flowers and plants — and so much more.
