Say Hello to Grade A Gardens at the November Winter Market
In 2022, the Winter Farmers’ Market welcomes new and beloved vendors to Historic Court District in Downtown Des Moines (DSM). During your next visit to the Winter Market, stop by and Say Hello to Grade A Gardens.
Say Hello
Say Hello to Grade A Gardens! Farmers Jordan and Whitney Clasen will be bringing produce from their Earlham farm to the Winter Market. A vendor for more than 10 years, Grade A Gardens has plenty of options for your Thanksgiving sides including squash, root vegetables, greens, carrots, garlic, potatoes, turnips, beets and Brussels Sprouts. They’re also bringing cranberries from another farm. We asked Jordan what he likes to make — he said mashed potatoes or maybe candied carrots. His favorite thing to grow? Garlic — it’s been his favorite all these years, and they love cooking with it.
Pick some up for yourself and Say Hello to Grade A Gardens and all our vendors at the Winter Market Saturday, Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
