Sarah Jo Purcell

Sarah Jo Purcell is an active young professional in Greater Des Moines (DSM). She graduated from BCLUW High School an hour north of DSM in the small town of Conrad and graduated with her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s Degree from the University of Iowa. She currently works for Iowa State University as a career services advisor. When she’s not at work, Sarah can be found running around Gray’s Lake, eating breakfast at the Downtown Farmer’s Market, planning for future Impact Downtown Committee events with fellow Young Professionals Connection (YPC) members and enjoying the festivals in Downtown DSM. Sarah recently moved to DSM and loves how welcoming and supportive YPC and the region has been to her professional and personal life.
