Tiffany Tauscheck, CCE, CDME, IOM
Tiffany Tauscheck, CCE, IOM & CDME is the President & CEO of Greater Des Moines Partnership. For eight years, Tauscheck has been leading various areas of work at The Partnership, including organizational strategic planning, operations, culture, Investor relations, Downtown economic development, and high-profile regional initiatives and placemaking projects.
Tauscheck is passionate about regional collaboration, community-building, and working on large regional projects and initiatives that impact her community’s quality of life for years to come. She serves on numerous local, regional and national boards, including the Operations and Finance Division Advisory Board for the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives for North America, America’s Cultivation Corridor, Principal Charity Classic, NCMIC Foundation, Prairie Meadows, and the Iowa Chamber Alliance.
Prior to her current role at The Partnership, Tauscheck served as the organization’s Chief Communications Officer, then Chief Strategy Officer, and then Chief Operations Officer and President of Downtown DSM, Inc. Before joining the economic development and community development organization, Tauscheck was the Vice President of Marketing and Development at Catch Des Moines, served as Director of Marketing at the Des Moines Radio Group and was a TV reporter and producer for FOX in Des Moines and KGAN (CBS Affiliate) in Cedar Rapids.
Tauscheck was named one of the nation’s top Forty Under 40 leaders in nonprofits and associations by USAE and an international leader in economic development by Development Counsellors International (DCI) as a Forty Under 40 honoree. She was awarded the Drake University National Young Alumni Achievement Award in 2018. In 2019, Tauscheck was named a 2021 Woman of Influence by the Des Moines Business Record.
Tauscheck and her husband, Mark, have two children. She is an alum of Drake University, Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute and Drake University’s Executive Leadership program. Tauscheck is a Certified Chamber Executive (CCE), graduate of Institute of Organizational Management (IOM) and a Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME).
