You Have to Check Out The Red Door Press at the Winter Farmers' Market

Using tools that are up to 200 years old, Adam and Tammy Winn went from being longtime Downtown Farmers’ Market customers to vendors with The Red Door Press. Over those four years, they’ve found The Market has been a great place to connect with the community.
The Red Door Press is a tradition shop where everything they do is letterpress printed using a variety of hand set types. They house about 500 type faces in their collection and everything goes through an antique press.
Find them at the Winter Market Friday, Nov. 16 and Saturday, Nov. 17 and again on Friday, Dec. 14 and Saturday, Dec. 15 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. each day indoors at Capital Square at 400 Locust St. in Downtown Des Moines (DSM) where they’ll be offering cards, posters and printing for businesses.
The Downtown Winter Farmers’ Market presented by UnityPoint Health – Des Moines will take place on Friday, Nov. 16 and Saturday, Nov. 17 and again on Friday, Dec. 14 and Saturday, Dec. 15 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. each day indoors at Capital Square at 400 Locust St. in Downtown DSM.
