Each week, we ask Downtown Farmers’ Market shoppers: “What’s in Your Bag?” Shoppers share what local ingredients they have purchased from their favorite vendors. Check out their purchases below!

Amber + Evan

Amber and Evan were shopping at the Market today when we stopped to ask them “What’s in Your Bag?” So far today they have bought kohlrabi, beets and flowers from Mai’s Homegrown Flower and Produce, pork jerky from Farm Story Meats, honey lemonade from Peverill’s Apiary, dog treats from Watson and Wallie’s, salsa from Lola‘s Fine Hot Sauce, pastries, sweet breads and an almond log from Vander Ploeg Bakery and cookies and tarts from Wendell’s BBQ. We gave Amber and Evan a reusable Market bag and you could get one too if we stop and ask you “What’s in Your Bag?” when you’re at The Market, Saturdays from 7 a.m. – Noon!
