What's in Your Bag: Aug. 27, 2022
Each week, we ask Downtown Farmers’ Market shoppers: “What’s in Your Bag?” Shoppers share what local ingredients they have purchased from their favorite vendors. Check out their purchases below!
Choy, Lincoln + TJ
Choy, Lincoln and TJ from Des Moines and Chicago have been busy shopping at The Market today. We asked them “What’s in Your Bag?” They bought salmon from The Popsie Fish Company, greeting cards from Kat’s Garden, mechanics soap from Morning Sun Soaps & Lotions, LLC, cookies and bars from Kiana‘s Cookie Creations, chicken and waffles from G.G.‘s Chicken & Waffles, a grilled cheese sandwich from Say Cheese, kebabs and sticky rice from Steve’s Chef Kabob, vinyl stickers, mini donuts, Thai chili peppers, green onions, loofah, bitter melon, green onions, a ring and a balloon sword. We gave them a reusable Market bag for showing us everything they purchased, and you can get one too if we stop and ask you “What’s in Your Bag?” Saturdays at the Market from 7 a.m. to Noon.
