What’s in Your Bag: Oct. 22, 2022
Each week, we ask Downtown Farmers’ Market shoppers: “What’s in Your Bag?” Shoppers share what local ingredients they have purchased from their favorite vendors. Check out their purchases below.
Jeanette
Jeanette from Urbandale is a regular at The Market, and today we stopped and asked her “What’s in Your Bag?” From Grade A Gardens she bought eggs, carrots, radishes and fingerling potatoes. She also bought butternut squash, red cabbage, bok choy and potatoes from Bridgewater Farm. She stopped for cheese from Maytag Dairy Farms and next she’s headed to Timeless Prairie Orchard for apples and apple cider and greens from Dogpatch Urban Gardens. If we stop and ask you “What’s in Your Bag?” we’ll give you a reusable Market bag! Take advantage of the beautiful weather and visit The Market during the last event of the season from 8 a.m. until Noon.
