In 2022, the Downtown Farmers’ Market welcomes new and beloved vendors to Downtown Des Moines (DSM). During your next visit to The Market, Say Hello to featured vendor, Kiana’s Cookie Creations, also one of the most successful Black-owned businesses in the region.

Say Hello to Kiana’s Cookie Creations! In 2020, Kiana Hines took a leap of faith and started her cookie business. Not only can you get her decorated sugar cookies at The Market, you can also get a fruit pizza parfait — perfect for breakfast — or try an oatmeal cream pie or one of Kiana’s drop cookies. Need something for the kiddos? Get them a cookie they can paint themselves!

Make sure to stop and say hello the next time you’re at the Market, Saturdays from 7 a.m. – Noon!
