The Downtown Farmers’ Market welcomes a variety of vendors through October 2021. This August, Say Hello to featured vendor, Bare Bison. The Bare Bison farm sells bison meat packed with protein and nutrients, snacks and apparel.

About Bare Bison

Say Hello to Bare Bison! The five owners of Bare Bison recently moved their farm from Van Meter to Peru, but nothing changed about the quality of meat they sell. When compared to beef and chicken bison has less fat and calories and more protein and iron. You can buy bison meat sticks, ground bison and a variety of steak cuts from their booth at the Market. Jason, the farm manager, says you can’t go wrong with a ribeye. Try it for yourself and say hello while you’re at the Market, Saturdays from 7 a.m. to Noon.
