Valet Parking Service Coming to Western Gateway Park

Keck Parking hopes to make parking easier and more convenient for visitors to the neighborhood surrounding Western Gateway Park. The valet parking program, which starts Sept. 9, is available to anyone and will be stationed adjacent to Magnolia Wine Kitchen every Friday and Saturday night beginning at 5 p.m. Guests will be able to pull into the parking lot, pay a flat fee of $5 and enjoy their night in the western part of Downtown.

“We are excited to be offering a new service in a part of downtown that can be difficult to find a close and convenient parking spot,” said Will Hays, Director of Operations at Keck Parking. “We are invested in the pilot program for 3 months and hopefully this will help draw people to the restaurants.”

Users of the service will find the ability to pay with their credit card convenient, as well as the ability to text the valet when they are ready for their vehicle. This will allow the valets to have the customer’s car ready upon their departure. The new service could be a game changer to Downtown. It will offer a great benefit for those looking to drop their car off quickly without driving around looking for an open parking meter. “We have noticed the influx of people, businesses and entertainment options to the area and are hoping to provide a service that currently does not exist in that part of downtown. We hope the convenience spurs greater economic activity for the restaurants and other businesses in the area,” said Hays.
