The Greater Des Moines Partnership is the economic and community development organization that serves Greater Des Moines (DSM), Iowa. Together with 23 Affiliate Chambers of Commerce, more than 6,500 Regional Business Members and over 400 Investors, The Partnership drives economic growth with one voice, one mission and as one region. Through innovation, strategic planning and global collaboration, The Partnership grows opportunity, helps create jobs and promotes DSM as the best place to build a business, a career and a future.

Partnership Goals
The Partnership aims to grow the region's prosperity and global connectivity. The organization works collaboratively with regional partners to recruit and assist new and expanding businesses, to ensure a talented and educated workforce delivers valued skills, to support and grow small businesses and high-growth potential startups, to pursue policy that benefits the economic vitality of the region and to promote the region to national and international audiences. The Partnership believes that a strong core is central to a strong region, and therefore, collaboratively cultivates a vibrant Downtown to serve as the core of the region through development, events, environment and promotion.
Through its areas of work, the organization contributes directly and meaningfully to the vitality of Members' and Investors' businesses and the quality of life for the entire region. All of this creates a true partnership between business, government and the public to fulfill The Partnership's mission and vision.

About the DSM USA Regional Identifier
DSM USA is the regional identifier for Greater Des Moines (DSM). DSM USA is a bold statement to the world: This is a welcoming, diverse and vibrant community with affordable and accessible amenities for residents and businesses. This regional identifier is the result of significant quantitative and qualitative research.
The Partnership champions the DSM USA message and encourages its 23 Affiliate Chambers, its more than 6,500 Regional Business Members, nearly 400 Investors and DSM USA Ambassadors to help share the region’s story with one voice. Here is how:

"Standing on the Shoulders of Giants": Celebrating 125 Years
In 2013, The Partnership celebrated 125 years of economic development in the region with the launch of the commemorative book titled, "Standing on the Shoulders of Giants." The book documents the historic foundation of The Partnership, the community's signature accomplishments and the people who made them happen. It also looks ahead to what the future holds.
