The Lovestruck Balladeers Serenade Their Way to the Temple Theater in October

DES MOINES, IA — Des Moines Performing Arts, in partnership with Civic Music Association, is pleased to present THE LOVESTRUCK BALLADEERS for one night only on the Temple Theater stage Friday, Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to THE LOVESTRUCK BALLADEERS will go on sale Friday, Sept. 7, 2018 at 9 a.m. and can be purchased at DMPA.org, the Civic Center Ticket Office, and by phone at 515-246-2300.

THE LOVESTRUCK BALLADEERS are a stellar band of traveling musicians. Together or on their own paths, they have traversed the country and the globe, carrying traditional styles into modern times and bringing new sounds to old music. The versatile quintet features twin fiddles, clarinet,  a mandolin trio, acoustic and electric guitar,  upright bass, banjos, piano, and vocal harmonies.  Ragtime, old-time, jazz, swing, country, waltzes from around the world and dance music of all varieties are in the mix. Hailing from across the United States, THE LOVESTRUCK BALLADEERS are: Jake Sanders, Aaron Jonah Lewis, Dennis Lichtman, Sean Cronin, and Dalton Ridenhour.
