Whether you’re getting ready to graduate this spring or just entering high school as a freshman, the Golden Circle College and Career Fair is an opportunity to make connections and gather information about what your future could look like. Consider your interests and explore the pathways that align with them. Bring your parents to help navigate the educational and training opportunities that might be available to you. From apprenticeships to the college experience, student support is available at the College and Career Fair, so don’t miss out!

Event Details

The Golden Circle College and Career Fair will take place on Sunday, Sept. 24 from 1 – 3 p.m. at The Meadows Conference & Events Center in Altoona. At the Fair, students will be able to search within “Career Clusters” to identify businesses within specific industries. These include:

  • Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources
  • Applied Sciences, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics
  • Business, Finance, Marketing & Management
  • Health Science
  • Human Services 
  • Information Solutions

During the event, students will also have the chance to hear from experts during different breakout sessions. Panels will feature young professionals, discuss scholarships and give an overview of the financial aid process. Opportunities specific to high schoolers include the chance to speak with more than 70 colleges and universities in attendance, learn about Building Trades Registered Apprenticeship Programs and find out what the military offers in terms of unique programs for students.
