World Food & Music Festival Returns to Downtown DSM Sept. 14 - 16
DOWNTOWN DES MOINES, IOWA — The 14th Annual World Food & Music Festival will be held at Western Gateway Park in Downtown Des Moines (DSM) on Friday, Sept. 14 – Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018. More than 50 food vendors representing more than 25 countries and culinary regions will be featured at Greater Des Moines’ (DSM’s) premier food and music festival.
The Festival will be open from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The award-winning Festival celebrates cuisine and entertainment from around the world including Bosnia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Ethiopia, France, Italy, India, Jamaica, Kenya, the Mediterranean, Mexico, Morocco, the Netherlands, Nepal, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand and more. New vendors in 2018 include Amos Dean Catering, Curry Hut, Greek Flame Foods, Hotsy Totsy, Keeping Up with the Jones’s, La Calle, Roadside Tacos, Rootz Afro Caribbean Cuisine and World Caravan.
