St. Vincent de Paul News

  • Education Center: The St. Vincent de Paul Education Center, located on the second floor of 1426 Sixth Ave. in Des Moines, offers free computer use to community members during specific hours. See the March calendar for open computer lab time.
  • The Back 2 Work Course offers tailored support for individuals re-entering the workforce or transitioning to a new career. This six-day program covers job-readiness training, developing healthy relationships at home and in the workplace, financial literacy and mock interview practice.   • Promoting Opportunity for Parents Program (POPP) St. Vincent de Paul will be offering classes to support parents who must fulfill child support obligations. POPP offers certain incentives to eligible class participants whose child support includes a balance owed to the State of Iowa.
